I am a Certified Childbirth Educator and Labor Assistant (Doula) through the Bradley Method® (AAHCC).  I am the mother of three children, the first two born by natural childbirth at local hospitals; the third born naturally at home.  If you would like to see some pictures of my blessings, my family, feel free to take a peek and click here.

     I believe that birth is a natural expression of life, for which women's bodies were designed, and that birth should be allowed to unfold itself naturally within a supportive environment.  I am dedicated to restoring dignity to the birthing process.

     My goal as an educator a doula is to provide my clients with information regarding their bodies, labor and birth as well as their rights as consumers in the medical field.  My hope is to equip them to take responsibility for achieving the birth they wish and deserve to have, and to enable them to be partnered with their chosen careprovider, whether midwife or doctor, in making competent and informed decisions regarding their pregnancies, births and children.

     I gear my classes to the coaches, striving to equip them with the tools and skills to help Mom through the labor to achieve the birth experience they both desire.

     I am available to my students and doula clients 24 hours a day by phone for questions that they have regarding their pregnancies and labors.
